How to Care for Your Kito Sandals

Straps first: Brush lint, hair and dust out of the hook-and-loop surfaces every couple of weeks so they keep gripping. Don’t soak the straps for long, and let them dry fully before wearing.

Regular cleaning: Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap. Scrub the foot-bed and sole grooves with a soft brush and rinse until no soap is left. Avoid bleach, which can fade colors and make rubber brittle.

Odor: Apply baking soda paste to the foot-bed for 15-20 minutes, then rinse. For stronger odor, soak in 3 parts water to 1 part white vinegar for 30 minutes.

Drying and storage: Air dry in shade, away from heaters and long direct sun. Store in a cool, dry place, not sealed in plastic.
