How to Care for Your Kito Sandal

Regular cleaning: Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap. Brush the foot-bed and sole grooves gently, then rinse until no soap is left. Avoid bleach, which can fade color and make rubber brittle.

Odor: Apply baking soda paste to the foot-bed for 15-20 minutes, then rinse. For stronger odor, soak in 3 parts water to 1 part white vinegar for 30 minutes.

Drying and storage: Air dry in shade, away from heaters and long direct sun. Store in a cool, dry place, not sealed in plastic. Check the sole for small stones every few wears.
